Little House in Key West


After 3 photos, we decided to go to the store for SERIOUS CLEANING SUPPLIES! Using oven cleaner and Simple Green, Holly cleaned for 4 hours on the inside of the frig. We also got plastic table cloths so we could put our futons on something clean.
December 16th: A few of the cracks in the Living Room

Interesting color combo in the front bedroom. We think they ran out of gold spray paint, but the splotchy look may have been intentional?! The photos don't show the dirt that was on everything. New beds, the inside of the frig, and Zorro's pen were the only clean spots in the house.

The kitchen and bathroom ceilings took 2 gallons of spackling and several tubes of caulk

Even the outside was dirty! The faucet was gone and you could see through that hole from the kitchen

		It was so overwhelming that when Ann and Ron came by to help, they walked through the house shrieking and started cleaning up the outside.
Thank goodness the garbage was being picked up the next day.

December 17th: Essential Tools: a Caribbean Style book, 2 tubes of SportsCream and a new Vaccuum Cleaner. Check out the middle photo for a sampling of cob webs!

December 18th: Ron came by to paint the frig and Ann brought lunch every day! They were truly life savers! And Zorro played, ate and grew.

December 27th: By the time the guys arrived, the living room wall had been repaired by Ron and he was fixing the roof in the photo below. The house is looking brighter and better. To see the house a month later, click here.
