The black widow spider mates then murders. She spins webs of lace which merge into barbed wire and cracks in the stone. The rose emerges from the stone. Fascinating, deadly, beautiful...as is life. The same life animates all things. The same planet sustains all things. It is neither good nor bad, it merely is.
