Prosperity.com has recently developed beautiful tools to enhance your own personal color therapy. TouchStones are created by hand with layers of colored glass and a variety of dichroic glasses fused together. The size of each TouchStone is approximately one and a half inches by three quarters of an inch, making them easy to carry, wear as jewelry, hold during meditations, or enhance your color readings or therapy sessions.

The main characteristic of Dichroic glass is that it has a transmitted color and a completely different reflective color and the colors shift depending on angle of view. With the play of light together with color, Dichroic glass lended itself perfectly with our purpose. Changing in every light condition and angle in which they are turned, TouchStones are impossible to photograph.

All but Violet, the Chakra Set of TouchStones — the red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and indigo — are fused with a very light silver beam-splitter dichroic coating so the colors vibrate. The Violet TouchStone in the Chakra Set has been fused with a much heavier Violet Dichroic glass. Silver dichroic coating was chosen as a protection of your energy to ward off any negativity in your environment while carrying the TouchStones. White TouchStones also are fused with the silver beam-splitter dichroic coating.

Silver, Copper, Gold, Blue Violet, and Magenta TouchStones are all fused with their respective colors made up of heavy-layered dichroic coatings.

The Rainbow TouchStone is created with a special combination of quartz crystal and metal oxides.

All of the Rippled TouchStones have their own unique formulas as well. The back side of all of the Rippled TouchStones look completely different from the fronts and are equally as beautiful.

The Black TouchStone does not have a dichroic element fused in, because the dichroic glass would reduce the absorption rate and lower the effectiveness of the TouchStone.

Dichroic glass is used in glass sculpture and beading, but originally it was created for the Aerospace industry and also used in optical applications for enhancing very specific wavelengths of light. Quartz crystal and metal oxides, such as silver, gold, titanium, silicon, and magnesium, are vaporized into an airless chamber and the vapor attaches on the surface of the glass, forming crystal structures and various colors. Colorless by itself, the composition of the quartz and metal ozides determine the colors. The dichroic colors may be made by combining more than 30 layers of these materials, yet the thickness of the total dichroic coating is approximately 35 millionths of an inch. Dichroic coatings transmit certain wavelengths of light, while reflecting others, thus creating an iridescence similar to hummingbird feathers and dragonfly wings.

Beautiful and soft to the touch, TouchStones are reasonably durable and strong. They are glass and they will break if tested by dropping or throwing on hard surfaces.
